At AAAcupuncture Clinic, we take your overall well-being seriously, no matter what your specific problems are. That means that we take a lot of things into account when we’re diagnosing and treating your health problems. We believe that essential energy flow in the body can be disrupted for many reasons, resulting in a host of physical and emotional problems, and we use natural, time-tested methods such as acupressure and acupuncture to release blocked energy in certain parts of the body and help everything to work in harmony again. Sometimes treatments are used on their own, but in many cases treatments like acupressure and acupuncture are used together or in conjunction with other healing treatments such as Nutritional Testing and magnet therapy to bring about the desired results.

In addition, we may prescribe herbal remedies. With the use of our holistic healing methods we can help such conditions as chronic pain, skin problems, digestive problems, and sports injuries. We even have laser acupuncture treatment available, which can often be more effective for certain ailments such as thyroid disorders.

All of the equipment that we use is state-of-the-art, and we always make sure that everything is safe and sterile. We welcome all new patients, and if you’re in the area or are interested in taking advantage of some of our services, we would be glad to show you around our clinic and answer any questions that you might have.

If you’re considering Palo Alto acupuncture or other types of holistic treatment, you’ll find compassionate, experienced and knowledgeable care at AAAcupuncture Clinic. We work with you as a team to make you feel better and give you a whole new outlook! Call us today.

According to a National Institutes of Health consensus panel of scientists, researchers, and practitioners who convened in November 1997, clinical studies have shown that acupuncture is an effective treatment for nausea caused by surgical anesthesia and cancer-related treatments, as well as for dental pain experienced after surgery. The panel also found that acupuncture is useful by itself or combined with conventional therapies to treat addiction, headaches, menstrual cramps, tennis elbow, fibromyalgia, myofascial pain, osteoarthritis, lower back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, asthma, and to assist in stroke rehabilitation.

This is the stage where people tend to seek traditional medical treatment.
Stage 4

Chinese Medicine Diagnosis

You will start with an one-on-one initial consultation with the doctor for up to 30 minutes to discuss your health issues. If we decide that we can help you, you can have a Chinese Medicine diagnosis and comprehensive initial exam by the Chinese medical physician Jenny C. Lee  L. Ac, a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, who will guide you through a TCM diagnosis and prognosis along with a suggested TCM herbal formula and nutritional supplements that is designed specifically to treat your unique conditions.

For repeat visit, you only need to tell us any new progress or changes since last time you visit us. However, any patient that has not visited us for more than 6 months will have to fill out the questionnaire again.

TCM Diagnosis is based upon Traditional Chinese Medicine theories of Yin and Yang, Five Elements and eight principles. This unique system take into consideration the person as a whole, not just isolated systems. A “pattern of disharmony” is discovered and the person as a whole is treated accordingly.

Chinese Medicine has been an effective one on one health care medicine for five thousands years. It is the original form of natural medicine and sometimes the only alternative treatment available for millions of people.

Laser Acupuncture has been described as the application of red and near infra-red light over certain acupuncture points employing the theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The Low Level Cold Laser beam can penetrate deeper than the needle and heal tissue at a much faster rate. It can stimulate the acupoint of human body, and input an energy into it, so as to excite the channels and properties, regulate the function of organism, and promotethe metabolism of the cells.

Benefits of Laser therapy:

• Accelerates cellular reproduction, growth, and repair.
• Stimulates fibroblast production to speed wound healing.
• Reduces formation of scar tissue.
• Reduces swelling.
• Increases vascular and lymph activity.
• Stimulates nerve cell reconnection and function.
• Stimulates production of endorphins, which is the body’s natural pain killers.

• Strains and sprains
• Pulled ligaments
